Many people like 3D printers in the first place because they can make people happy with their ideas. However, the production process is not always smooth, and you may encounter various problems, resulting in data loss. So, here's an answer to some common computer systems and software questions about 3D printers.

1.Gcode cannot be generated by Apple system

First, our printing software only supports Apple 10.7 or later. Second, we learned whether the customer installed the Python software and then installed the wiiboox (ReplicatorG) installation path unchanged.

2. Gcode cannot be generated

There is a problem with the Python runtime download, let the client uninstall the original Python runtime and ReplicatorG and reinstall it (note: you must install Python first and then the Replicator, and do not change the file save path)

3. Failed to install the software

First, our software is compatible with various computer operating systems. Check your computer for firewalls or antivirus software to turn it off, and then reinstall the software (note: you must install Python to install the Replicator, and don't change the file save path).

4.The computer could not connect to the printer

First check that the printer is on, check that the USB cable is plugged in, check that the printer port is correct, and then check that you have clicked the "connect to printer" option on the software. If you still cannot connect, consider whether the print driver is not installed. If not, reinstall the printing software and try again.

5. How to connect a printing software ReplicatorG to your computer?

First, confirm the installation of the printing software ReplicatorG (the software installation package installs the printing software and printer driver by default), open the printer, connect the printer to the computer through the data cable, click the connection button on the printing software, and the connection is successful, showing the status bar of the printing software. , shown in green and red to indicate a normal connection.

6. How to use common 3D software (3ds MAX, solidworks, ProE) to convert good model files into printed files?

The 3D printer only recognizes 3D model files in STL format, allowing customers to save or export models directly to STL format in 3D software.

7. Print SD card offline without displaying files

The file name cannot be Chinese, and the file name cannot be more than 20 characters, otherwise the machine will not recognize the file.

8. Gcode conversion is slow

Typically, STL files are too large or STL files have problems. It can instruct customers to check if the model has problems with our printing software, netfabb. If the model file size exceeds 60M, it is easy to cause memory overflow when converting Gcode. You can instruct customers to try converting Gcode using the Cura software.

9. The STL file is too large to be pulled into the software, and it will show a white screen

The jAVA virtual machine compatibility problem of the computer lets the customer enter the C root target, enter the ReplicatorG folder, open the replicatorgxp. exe, start the printing software, and then load the model.

10. How to check whether 3D graphics have problems

We have software called netfabb that provides simple fix graphics. The most basic method is to use the Netfabb software and open the model to be printed if you see a big red "!" In the lower right corner of the software interface, it indicates that there is a big problem with the model. You can use the netfabb software auto fix first to see if you can fix it. If not, consider re-using 3D drawing software for the fix.

11. How to generate Gcode files

First, load the model into the printing software ReplicatorG, and then put the model file on the construction platform to ensure that the model is in the construction space. Click to generate Gcode data, select appropriate parameters, and click to generate Gcode. The model file is automatically converted to a generated Gcode file.

12. How to directly modify the temperature of the printing nozzle in Gcode

When generating the Gcode of the model file, click Gcode * and there will be "M104 S190" around lines 10-12. "TO, the code defaults TO 200 for the nozzle temperature, changes directly TO the desired temperature, and then prints.

13. How to directly modify the temperature of the heating plate in Gcode

When generating the Gcode for the model file, click Gcode *, around lines 10-12, and there is "M109 S40". T0... ", the code defaults to the temperature of the baseplate 40, changes directly to the desired temperature, and then prints.
